About Samuel Oliver

Samuel Oliver is a lifelong writer and fan of all creative expressions. As a child, he scribbled his first fantasy novel on wide-ruled paper and kept it in a binder that he repurposed his brother’s Pokémon card collection. Since then, he has developed a better understanding of the world around him and switched to typing on a computer, though his ambition is just the same.

Samuel Oliver started drafting A Gay (Happy) Novel in 2020 when the world had a lot of time on its hands to peruse creative endeavors like writing a debut novel. The work sat in a drawer for a few years before he was encouraged by his friends to dust it off and bring it to life through publishing. Now, having been through the publishing process, he is encouraged to continue writing and putting energy behind his ideas.

A Gay (Happy) Novel is just the beginning for Samuel Oliver. He is currently working on a multitude of written projects and sifting through new ideas on a daily basis. He has plans to release his next body of work within the next few years.
